Which freight services do you offer?
We move cargo by air, ocean, road and rail, and combine them where a single mode will not hit your deadline or your budget. Alongside the line haul we handle customs clearance, warehousing, pick and pack, and final-mile delivery, so one team stays accountable from collection to signature.
How do I get a quote?
Use the Request A Freight form and give us the route, the freight type and the weight. That is enough for us to price most lanes. A freight specialist reviews every request by hand and comes back within one business day with a firm rate and a transit time, not an estimate that changes at booking.
How do I track my shipment?
Every consignment gets a tracking number beginning with LP as soon as it is booked. Enter it in the Track Your Order box at the top of any page to see the current status, the last scanned location and the full transit history. The page updates as each leg is completed.
What do the tracking statuses mean?
Pending Pickup means the booking is confirmed and collection is scheduled. Picked Up means the cargo is with us. In Transit covers the main leg. On Hold means something needs resolving, usually customs paperwork, and we will already be in touch. Out for Delivery means it is on the final vehicle, and Delivered means it has been signed for.
How long will my shipment take?
Air freight typically runs one to four days airport to airport, ocean freight eighteen to forty days depending on the trade lane, and road freight one to five days across a single landmass. Customs clearance and final-mile delivery sit on top of those figures. Your quote states the door-to-door transit time for your specific route.
Is my cargo insured?
Standard carrier liability is limited by international convention and is usually well below the commercial value of the goods. We strongly recommend all-risk marine cargo cover, which we can arrange at the point of booking. Tick the insurance option on your freight request and we will quote it alongside the freight rate.
What can you not ship?
We do not carry cash, live animals, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods or unlicensed weapons. Dangerous goods, lithium batteries, temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals and perishables all move regularly but need to be declared up front so the right packaging, documentation and routing are used.
Which documents do I need for an international shipment?
For most consignments: a commercial invoice, a packing list, and the transport document (air waybill or bill of lading). Depending on the commodity and destination you may also need a certificate of origin, an import licence or a dangerous goods declaration. We tell you exactly what is required for your lane before the cargo moves.
How is freight priced?
Air and road freight are charged on chargeable weight, which is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Ocean freight is priced per container for full loads and per cubic metre or tonne for part loads. Your quote breaks out the freight, the customs work and any handling charges as separate lines, so nothing appears later.
What happens if something is damaged or goes missing?
Note it on the delivery receipt before signing and photograph the packaging and the goods. Tell us within seven days of delivery and we will open a claim the same day, chase the carrier on your behalf and keep you updated in writing until it is settled.
Do you handle warehousing and distribution?
Yes. We hold stock in bonded and general storage, pick and pack to your order profile, and run scheduled distribution runs. You get stock visibility and despatch confirmations, so warehousing and transport are managed as one service rather than two suppliers.
